We are delighted to be involved in the second annual Rodney Cook Memorial charity Rally taking place over the weekend of 7th and 8th of September.
Last years rally raised over £27,000 for Bath RUH’s new Cancer Centre – The largest charitable amount ever raised by a metal detecting rally !
This year the rally is back and will welcome guests from America , Australia and Canada amongst other countries.
The event will have the best part of 700 acres acres of historic land available to detect and will feature trade stalls, raffles , token hunts and will have a licensed bar and nightly entertainment.
This year the rally will raise money for the Starlight foundation, CLIC Sargent and the RUH cancer care centre.
If you would like to support the event but are unable to attend. Please consider donating to the events Go Fund me charitable donations page.
It is sure to be an amazing event and can be followed here on archmdmag and LIVE though the event on our Spreaker accounts – ‘Global Detection Adventures’ and ‘The Archaeology and Metal Detecting Magazine’
We also release our third printed copy of the magazine at the RCM rally and a HUGE thank you to Pete Turrell of LP, XP’s Gary Blackwell, Wiola from Rutus and Dilek Gonulay of Nokta Makro for helping to make this possible.
Looking forward to this one , see you in the fields !
Dave and Luke.
