Mystery of Nottingham’s Bronze Age canoes is solved

What has happened to two of Nottingham’s most treasured relics – a pair of Bronze Age canoes discovered in the River Trent near Clifton in the 1930s?

The question was posed by Gill Page who on returning to the city after a 40-year absence noted that the canoes were no longer on display at Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery.
